Young Professionals are Sleeping Outside to Raise Money for Toronto’s Homeless Youth

It’s one night vs. far too many.

Some 60 or so young professionals and community leaders will be spending the night outside on April 9th – exactly one month from today – to raise awareness of youth homelessness and funds for kids at Covenant House Toronto.

Equipped with only a sleeping bag and a few pieces of cardboard, these next generation leaders will spend one night experiencing a glimpse of what far too many youths in Toronto face on a daily basis – homelessness.

With the ambitious goal of bringing $190,000 to the agency’s work, these dedicated volunteers need all the help they can get.

Which is exactly where you come in.

Whether you’d like to donate funds to support a sleeper (Notable Editor-in-Chief Eric Wainwright is one of them) or you – or someone you know – would like to get involved and stay outside, both options are still available.

Combined with the incredibly successful Executive Sleep Out, more than $2 million has been raised in the past three years for the country’s largest homeless youth agency, allowing them to help the up to 10,000 homeless youth in Toronto annually.

Today you have a chance to make someone’s tomorrow better. Don’t wait until it’s too late.
