Stop by the recently opened Blacktail Florist on Friday night for some post-work drinks. This raved-about restaurant is proudly owned by Top Chef Canada contestant Jimmy Stewart and has already garnered well-deserved buzz. The décor is impressive, as is a menu built around Scandinavian-style eats fused with West Coast comfort cuisine. Couple this with an incredibly creative cocktail and wine list as well as welcoming staff and exceptional service and your weekend is off to a great start.

Wine For Waves is taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver in support of the Vancouver Aquarium this Friday night and is the perfect opportunity to pull on your best cocktail attire for an evening of fundraising fun. Sample wines from the Naramata Bench, support ocean conservation efforts, nab silent auction items and mingle with a cool crowd of Vancouver YPs while you’re at it.
