Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: March 10, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do to kick off your week.*

March Break
Where: Various Locations
When: All Week Long

Remember what it was like? Of course you don’t. You’re old and jaded now and just the chance of a three-day weekend sounds like paradise – a full week off must be some sort of trick. But that’s what kids everywhere are getting. So if you know one, own one, or owe one, this is the week to step up. The Ontario Science Centre, AGO, CN Tower, Casa Loma, and many, many more museums and cultural sites are offering deals for anyone hauling a kid along with them.

Trampoline Hall
Where: The Garrison
When: 7:30pm

The city’s best and most unpredictable lecture series is back this month to discuss Mary Magdalene, lighters, and doppelgangers. If you haven’t been before, you should know that the common theme that brings it all together is that not one of the speakers is an expert in the field they’re discussing. Though we’re pretty sure they’ve researched at least a little. Don’t be late – no one’s allowed in after 8pm. Seriously.

Ambrosi Napoli
Where: Leatherfoot, 24 Bellair St.
When: 11am-6pm

LeatherFoot, one of Toronto’s most exclusive purveyors of fine footwear, will be switching it up all day long. Salvatore Ambrosi of Ambrosi Napoli will be in house to prepare some bespoke pants for your spring wardrobe. You choose the material, measurements are taken, and Mr. Ambrosi then flies back to Italy to personally cut the high-end fabric – no big deal. Simply put, these are some of the best trousers in the world. Appointments are highly recommended but not required.

*Of course, no one would blame you for staying in all night to try and figure out how Jack Bauer is not dead yet.
