Recap: Toronto Movember Launch Party

Last night, Movember held its Toronto launch party at Cabin 5. Mo Bros and Mo Sistas hit up the launch in notable style, some showcasing looks inspired by the great outdoors and country gentlemen – this year’s Movember campaign theme.

Moustache season is now upon us, and the Movember launch had some lads donning later-than-five-o’clock-shadows prepping for the month of moustachery. (And several who look like year-round supporters.)

Mingling with the Mos, we caught up with some of the gents and snapped shots, sipped drinks, and celebrated the beginning of this year’s Movember campaign.

Just in case you’ve been disconnected from anything digital for the past couple years, Movember is an international campaign that sees gents the world over growing out moustaches and beards while raising awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. It’s one of the widest-spread, most well-known endeavours, and its popularity can be attributed to the fantastic campaigns and social media dissemination and unique way in which its organizers decided to engage an audience that spans generations to participate.
