For the second consecutive year, the creative minds behind DOS will bring a prolific line-up of some of the greatest names in art and food to Toronto for the party of the summer. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 1.
Last year, 1500 guests were expected at UNO, the inaugural event, but over 3000 showed up! This year, it’s double the hype with James Beard award-winner Chef Paul Kahan, famed graffiti artist Sam Flores, and award-winning underground street artist Mike Giant on the bill.
DOS’ unique theme will see some of the world’s heavyweights in art, food, and music battle it out at Evergreen Brickworks. Big Star (Chicago) vs. La Carnita (Toronto) serving up a ton of taqueria; DJ Platurn (California) vs. Grandtheft (Toronto) scratching it out on the turntables; and Sam Flores (San Francisco) vs. Joseph Martinez (Los Angeles) exhibiting mind-blowing works of art. This year, 40 artists are being paired up to create 20 unique themes.
