In the two-minute video we witness teenager after teenager place their concentration somewhere other than on the road in front of them – for almost no time at all – with calamitous results.
Beneath the video, this explanation is given:
“Unprecedented video analysis finds that distraction was a factor in nearly 6 out of 10 moderate-to-severe teen crashes, which is four times as many as official estimates based on police reports.”
We’re not saying you still drive like a teenager, but if this video doesn’t make you think twice before checking your phone while driving, we don’t want to be on the road at the same time as you.
Just think, these videos are the ones where everyone seems to be fine. How many are there where things ended up a lot worse…?
