It’s perfect timing with the year winding down and thoughts shifting to a fresh start as the 2015 arrives.
Making stops in cities in the States, this is the second time Urban Campfire, run by the Crave Company, comes to Vancouver for a wintertime edition at Granville Island’s Performance Works Theatre.
This time around the theme will be ‘It’s Time to Own Your Style’.
Except it’s not what you think.
Forget the immediate thought of women gathering to figure out what goes best with their new boots or creating the perfect look for a big meeting.
Tonight’s conversation will be about your style in life. Think: what pisses you off, what resonates the most with you, what can you not stand in a work environment, what moves you, who did you learn the most from – all of the things that shape and affect the energy of women’s day-to-day happenings.
Look to walk away with a new way of thinking, tips on how to react effectively, how to operate a small business with a corporation-style mentality, tips for dealing with negative energy, and balancing the ongoing juggle between work and play from the line-up of speakers and conversation between guests.
