Today’s Notable 3some in Toronto: May 5, 2014

Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do on the first Monday of May.*

Cinco De Mayo
Where: Everywhere
When: All Freakin’ Day

Check out our guide here. That is all.

Fashion Incubator
Where: One King West
When: 8pm

Sure, the name reminds you of eggs hatching, but that’s kind of the point. The Toronto Fashion Incubator is where Canadian fashion is born. By bringing together the most creative designers our country has to offer and giving them the chance to turn their ideas into actual businesses, TFI helps put the shirt on your back – literally. Tonight is their highly anticipated fashion design competition and runway show. Go get glamorous on a Monday.

Yelloweek
Where: Various
When: Today until May 11th

Last year we told you about Yelloweek, the Veuve Clicquot-sponsored showcase for artists deemed to constantly be pushing the limits of creativity in both beauty and refinement, just as Madame Clicquot did in her time. Well, it was such a success in MTL that they’ve decided to expand the celebration east to four more cities – and Toronto is one of them. Lucky us.

*Of course, no one would blame you for staying in…for the next 5 months.
