International Weekender: November 7 through 9, 2014

We already spoil you with a weekly rundown of the hottest events in your city – but for jetsetters like you, sometimes that just isn’t enough.

You want to know exactly what’s going on wherever your plane may touch down over the next three days.

Well, now you can.

As for learning the local language, that one’s on you.

New York Comedy Festival
Get your laugh on in the Big Apple and catch the tail end of this five-day comedy extravaganza featuring more than 200 comedians performing at over 60 venues throughout the city. Nov. 5-9.

Odd Future Carnival, Los Angeles
If hip-hop’s your calling and you’re touching down in LA tomorrow, this is your chance to see Pharrell, Tyler, the Creator, Rick Ross, Mac Miller, and many more all in one spot. You’d find us front row at Action Bronson – if we could go.

Dubai Off-Road and Adventure Show
The ticket link warned us to attend at our own risk. This is probably something you’ll want to check out if Dubai’s in the cards this weekend. It’s the perfect excuse to spend a few hours in the desert.

25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall
If you’re stopping over in the German capital this weekend, there’s simply no bigger “celebration” than the 25th anniversary of the fall of the wall that divided the country for 38 years. This is what you should check out:

New Energy Auto Show, Shanghai
See what’s driving the future of sustainable transportation in an industry that’s expected to triple over the next half decade. Warning: your Prius is going to look pretty average after this. Nov. 4-8.

Alfa Mito Club to Club, Torino
If a stop in Torino is on the agenda and you’re lucky enough to stay a night, there’s simply no better way to spend your time. Resident Advisor lists Alfa Mito Club to Club as the top festival – which will span five days in venues across the city from post-industrial warehouses to historical theatres – between now and next year.

World Press Photo, London
The world’s best and most important photos of the past year are on display in London from November 7-26. If you’ve been to a World Press Photo exhibition before, you’ll know this is a must-attend.
