No matter your opinion of the practice of tipping, treating servers like pets in training is an overall awful idea.
One couple, however, thinks it’s perfectly acceptable behaviour and turned their most recent date into the worst tipping “experiment” we’ve ever seen.
Apparently, this guy thinks it’s a good idea to put five one-dollar bills on the table and treat them as a sort of strikeout system where one is taken away each time the server fails to live up to an unpronounced set of expectations.
He promises “you will receive the best service of your life” – and all at the mere expense of your soul. Look at these people carry themselves with the esteem of a circus clown:

Restaurant owners: can you please just pay your staff a fair wage so we can all avoid the societal black hole that is tipping?
