This Woman’s Creative Resume for Airbnb Might Be the Best Job Application We’ve Ever Seen

Working for Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the queen of Jordan, is a pretty sweet gig.

But what Nina Mufleh really wanted was to work for Airbnb in San Francisco. 

So do thousands of other people, of course, and after moving from the Middle East to pursue her dream job she was met by months of unreplied applications and emails. 

“I actually thought, I haven’t done everything I can… I’ve done the same thing multiple times, but I haven’t tried new approaches,” she told Business Insider.

So she created a website, a 12-page presentation that was both her resume as well as a business development proposal outlining her ideas for Airbnb to expand its presence in the Middle East. 

This, fellow job applicants, is how you wow a potential employer…













Within a day, her effort caught the attention of the company’s CEO, Brian Chesky, and CMO, Jonathan Mildenhall. More improtantly, she has a formal interview scheduled with an Airbnb marketing recruiter.
