Study Reveals That Sleep Increases Sex Drive for Women

The development of a viagra for women has been a fruitless, contentious endeavour, and a hot topic for years because, believe it or not, sometimes women need a little help to up their sexual desire.

Great news: more sleep should do the trick.

According to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, a woman’s sex drive increases up to 14 per cent with just one extra hour of sleep. Even more encouraging is that a lady’s sexual lust increases exponentially as the extra hours of sleep rack up.

But that doesn’t mean you should Snorlax your way to more sex.

“I think the take-home message should not be that more sleep is better, but that it is important to allow ourselves to obtain the sleep that our mind and body needs,” says Dr. Kalmbach, lead author of the study and resident at the University of Michigan Medical School.

That explains a lot considering 6 out of 10 Americans crave sleep over sex. It’s all about balance, people.

Sorry we couldn’t tell you before Valentine’s Day.
