It looks like Toronto has a new hot spot. Media Bar, tucked away behind the Hyatt on King Street, opened its doors this weekend. Its grand opening on Friday night drew an assortment of Toronto party regulars and familiar faces in the entertainment industry. As its name would suggest, the new space makes numerous nods to the vintage media world. This is reflected in everything from the décor the website and menu. Unique and refined, this isn’t your university hangout and, in a city and entertainment industry where we’ve seen it all, Toronto hasn’t seen anything like Media Bar.
See you there? Media Bar is located behind the Hyatt Hotel on King Street, down the back alley entrance. Media Bar is open Friday and Saturday, 9:00pm-2:00am.
