A new offering from the world of wearable tech is a godsend for bloggers, conference regulars and those filled with random ideas on the go.
There’s a new voice-recording wearable that takes notes for you.
The Senstone Intelligent Wearable Voice Recorder launched on Kickstarter last month. Currently, it allows wearers to store up to 50 hours of notes in the cloud and transcribe 300 one-minute-long transactions per month. (This will likely shift based on further insight into users’ habits, however).
The gadget is five times faster (and much more convenient) than any smartphone app. All you literally have to do is tap and talk. The standalone device allows you to take notes and make lists when it’s not connected to your smartphone.
When online, it can record for two and a half hours and automatically syncs your notes to the cloud when you’re back in range. Senstone even serves as a communication tool in the workplace, and can be integrated with apps like Evernote and Trello.
As for its design, the timeless and minimalist aesthetic of the Senstone will match any look of style. The casing is made of Chrome-plated brass and clear brass, a lighter aluminum version in white grey and black.
The gadget will ship in July (just in time to capture those summer music festival memories you may otherwise forget).
