It’s almost here: the most celebrated evening in Canadian fashion.
The country’s most fashionable and forward-thinking will flock to the iconic Fairmont Royal York hotel for the third annual Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA).
For those in the dark, CAFA honours and celebrates incredible emerging talent and outstanding achievement in Canadian fashion. Naturally, the who’s who of the entire industry – from models and designers to fashion bloggers and business leaders – will be there in all of their fashion-loving glory.
And of course every fabulous awards show has an equally fabulous post-show celebration. That’s why guests will enjoy a stylish and glamourous evening at the anticipated CAFA Sephora After Party.
As soon as the last shiny hardware is awarded on Friday, April 15, it’s time to get those stiletto-clad feet and tux-wrapped bodies into party mode – it’s a Friday night, after all. You won’t have to walk too far either – the after party takes place in the stunning hotel as well (and after the party, it’s the famous hotel lobby).
You can expect an open bar that covers all bases, with red and white by Apothic Wines, Steam Whistle beer, and Titos vodka. There will be no shortage of food to soak up the drinks, including both stations and passed appetizers all prepared by the Fairmont (so you know it’s going to be good).
To ensure your hair doesn’t fall flat and that your makeup remains red carpet-ready, there will be an on-site Sephora Beauty Lounge staffed by some of the city’s makeup pros, offering interactive experiences in everything from hair to scents. Naturally, you’ll walk away with product to take home too (fashion events and swag are synonymous, after all).
Good music is a given, with both a coveted DJ and live music to keep the well-heeled guests dancing well into the evening.
