The Drake Hotel is a staple for Toronto young professionals as an all-around entertainment venue that regularly hosts galleries, unique events, emerging and well-established musicians and DJs on weekends. Of course it’s also home to 19 exceptional and distinctly different hotel rooms, as well as one of the best restaurants in the city.
It’s almost a given that we’ll find ourselves at The Drake at least a few times per month, so you can bet we’re thrilled that they will once again be participating in this year’s Winterlicious. Chef Anthony rose prepares innovative comfort food that caters to the offerings of the season, covering everything from seafood specialties to sushi platters. Notable favourites currently on their dinner menu include the steak frites accompanied by your choice of one of two succulent steak options and the always-delectable Drake Burger. There are plenty of options for vegetarians as well, our favourite nosh plate being the soft polenta and roast apples.
You certainly won’t be disappointed by their drink menu, which includes an excellent selection of three different sakes; beer enthusiasts will be pleased with the option of choosing from over two dozens choices. And if you’re just stopping by for a snack before spending the night partying away, don’t skip out on the grean tea salt and lime edamame or lobster nachos.
