What’s in Your Bag, ET Canada Superstar Natasha Gargiulo?

It’s easy to list dozens of achievements Natasha Gargiulo has racked up in just a few short years. As the Montreal Correspondent for Global Television’s Entertainment Tonight Canada, this media maven has interviewed an endless lineup of A-listers and covered all types of events in countries the world over. But what is most striking about the talented Ms. Gargiulo is how down to earth she has remained through it all; approachable, accommodating, and just all-around A-1 awesome. It was the morning after hosting the ICRF annual gala with guest star John Legend – and after a mere four hours sleep – that Gargiulo sat down with Notable and let us take a peek into her bag of wonders. “It’s actually hilarious that you asked me to do this,” joked Gargiulo, as upbeat as ever. “We did a topic on this the other morning on Virgin Radio because my co-host, Freeway Frank, thought it was crazy that I carry my life in my purse! But I have long days so I throw everything in my bag, you know… just in case.”

The Bag:
My bag is from French Connection, which is one of our sponsors at ET Canada. I love big purses, especially when I’m on the go, travelling, or like/need to pack a lot of things. I was looking for a taupe bag that was comfy and easy to carry, one that could fit lots of things but still look stylish when packed. I fell in love with the softness of the leather first, then when I tried it on I knew that this was going to be my go-to bag of the summer. Perfect with jeans, practical, versatile, classic.

The Essentials:

Mango Wallet
I got this wallet in London at Piccadilly Circus. I was there covering the birth of the royal baby. It’s a mess inside!

Passport
It’s still in here from my last trip.

Agenda
It’s a no name from Omer des Serres. I like to be able to look at my week ahead visually. I can’t look through an iPhone – I like to flip through the pages. My daughter put these gold stickers all over it and I kept them on because I’m reminded of her every time I see them.

Interview Tapes
These are interviews from a recent press junket in New York. I interviewed the cast of Clint Eastwood’s new film, Jersey Boys, which is all about how Franki Valli and the 4 Seasons came to be. Fantastic film, great music – still can’t get the songs out of my head!

Makeup Case by Crabtree and Evelyn
I have a lot of experience with makeup. I know what works well on TV, what works well with my skin, and what makes me break out. Anne Rosenbloom, the makeup artist for ET Canada, recommended Jane Iredale mineral makeup; it keeps my skin clear and has SPF, which is important. Aside from that, my other makeup necessities are Guerlain’s Terracotta bronzer, Chanel pressed powder in 40 Doré, and Maybelline ‘Pumped Up’ mascara. Some people think that only expensive makeup works well, but this mascara is the best.

Retainer
We don’t have to include this, do we? It’s a bottom Invasaligne retainer.

Daughter’s Hair Ties and Polly Pocket

The Other Stuff:

Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Spray
I love this. Tutti Do from Rev PR sent it to me. It’s Body Shop’s #1 seller and it’s amazing. You spray it and feel like you just showered – it has that ‘post shower’ refreshing scent. I’m hooked.

La Petite Robe Noir Perfume by Guerlain
You know a scent is good when you can’t smell it on yourself but everyone else likes it.

Earrings
I couldn’t decide which earrings I wanted to wear so I just threw these in my bag too.

Excel Mints
These are really strong and powerful. I also keep my toothbrush and toothpaste with me but when I need something quick, this really does the trick.

Porter Cookies
I just got back from a trip to New York.

Waldorf Astoria Room Key
I guess I don’t need these anymore.

Water Bottle
