Toronto’s music scene can be pretty hectic.
In fact, often the only thing busier than the venues in this city is you. And since we know that a young professional (YP) lifestyle needs a good beat to back it up, we’re going to round up the best shows happening over the next seven days.
Every. Single. Week.
You don’t have to waste any more of your time searching for the next best concert – ‘cause every Monday you’ll find it right here.
WE ARE SCIENTISTS | HORSESHOE TAVERN | MONDAY 8:30PM
The indie rockers hit the Horseshoe stage tonight, in case you were looking for a solid reason to spend a Monday doing something other than watching TV before heading to bed early – you crazy kid, you.
DAVID GREY | MASSEY HALL | TUESDAY 7PM
All the soulful piano ballads you need will be taking place Tuesday night at Massey Hall. Bring a lover or just try to find one there.
CAT POWER | DANFORTH MUSIC HALL | WEDNESDAY 7PM
The one and only Chan Marshall returns to Toronto on her Sun tour, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her again. The ever-evolving songstress is long past her stage fright days, and all that remains is a show you definitely shouldn’t miss.

NAS | QUEEN ELIZABETH THEATRE | WEDNESDAY 10PM
In celebration of Illmatic‘s 20th anniversary, The Time Is Illmatic Tour will feature a documentary screening that focuses on the story behind what many consider to be one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. And then Nas will take the stage to perform the entire album live – do we really need to tell you this is a can’t miss opportunity?
AUGUSTINES | GARRISON | WEDNESDAY 8PM
If you’re a fan of gruff-voiced musicians like Springsteen, make it a point to see Augustines as they return to Toronto on Wednesday – and while you’re there, pick up all their albums, too. You can thank us later.
JASON MRAZ | MASSEY HALL | WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 8PM
Jason Mraz tends to be more of an acquired taste, but if you’re into his style of cutesy songwriting, you’ll have two chances to check him out this week at Massey Hall as long as you don’t give up.

MARKETA IRGLOVA | MOD CLUB | THURSDAY 6PM
The Once star is back, this time all on her own to play the Mod Club on Thursday. Be there if you know what’s good for your ears.
CHARLI XCX | THE HOXTON | FRIDAY 7PM
She blew up this summer with Boom Clap, alongside her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on Fancy. If you want to be part of a huge and memorable sing-along dance party, be sure to hit up the Hoxton on Friday. This should be a good one, even if you’re not that into pop
