Don’t call it a re-boot.
It’s just been a paranormally long break for the cast and crew of the 90s television sensation The X-Files.
According to Reuters.com, Fox has agreed to a six-episode run (mini-series?) to start shooting this summer.
And for you truthers out there, don’t worry, not only are Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny back in, so is show creator Chris Carter. So like we said, don’t call it a re-boot. This is as official a return as prime time can get.
Here’s hoping that the truth out there is that they’re able to do a good job with the show the second time around.
