The Young Patrons’ Circle (YPC) at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) invites you to the 7th annual fundraiser PROM on Saturday, March 31, 2012. This year’s theme centres on the greatest party on earth: the circus. PROM: Circus is hosted by MTV’s Sharlene Chiu and Johnny Hockin, and inspired by the wonder of the Museum’s world cultures and natural history collections. The fresh take on the old-fashioned circus features live entertainment and dancing under the big top, live aerial circus performers, a contortionist, and a fortuneteller with a crystal ball, a midway full of activities and gourmet carnival fare, complete with popcorn and cotton candy. A hair touch up station will be provided by Moroccan Oil. In addition to all the perks of the regular PROM Party ticket, VIP tickets include all of the above plus a pre-party reception with ROM curators, access to a private bar with premier cocktails, an exclusive performance by an illusionist, a delicious midnight snack station and a fully-stocked gift bag. VIP guests can also play for prizes from Birks by guessing the age or weight of rare artifacts from out of the ROM’s vaults.
