One of the great things about video is that you can capture scenes over an extended period of time.
Unless you’re New York City-based photographer Stephen Wilkes, who brilliantly captures city and landscapes over a 24-hour period in single photographs.
From Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to the urban jungle of NYC, Wilkes’ works are a beautiful blend of day and night photography. The final photographs come from a 24-hour period of shooting that involves over 1500 images.
If you want to catch the project in person, it’s currently running from now until January 9th, 2016 at the Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in New York City.
