Located in the village, La Guadalupe is one of Montreal’s best Mexican restaurants where you can find a top notch, notable, and authentically Mexican margarita. Pull up a chair and indulge in typical Mexican comfort food with one (or maybe two or three) of their famous tequila creations.
Icehouse – 51 Roy East
Although not authentically Mexican (think Southern Tex Mex cooking style), this small and cozy resto-bar keeps us coming back simply for the cocktails. Prepare for some rather difficult decision-making – Bourbon Ice Tea or Mexican-style margarita?
Lowes Vogue Lobby Bar – 1425 Montagne
The lobby bar in the Lowes Vogue, though not a place you’d expect to find an exceptional margarita, somehow manages to exceed all others when it comes to mixing tequila, limes, orange liqueur, and salt. This classy joint is the perfect after-work or date spot when you are looking for a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere with the perfect cocktail to boot.
Limon – 2472 Notre Dame West
Although not a bar, this St. Henri joint is one of the best spots to stop in for if you’re in the mood for a magnificent Margarita. On top of that, you can order a small ceviche and nosh while you sip away dreaming of warm sandy beaches and blue ocean waters.
