The Southern Ontario Oyster Shucking Competition and Ontario Oyster Festival returns to Rodney’s Oyster House on July 17th. Arrive early to catch all the events including live music and the Battle of the Bivalves oyster shucking competition. The festival is all in support of Environmental Defence, a group has been Rodney’s charity partner for over 20 years and that works to take action against environmentally destructive practices. So whether you’re an avid oyster fan, or you’re a little bit skittish and are trying them for the first time, the Ontario Oyster Festival is the ideal place to experience oysters.
