On Our Radar: A Five Course Dinner and Sake Evening

Though we’ve had tastes of sake here and there, it wasn’t until a recent trip to London that we really developed a penchant for the Japanese fermented rice beverage (which is becoming hugely popular, by the way). We guarantee just one evening at the renowned Sake No Hana will do the same for you. So we were quite thrilled, then, to find an invite to Ki’s intimate dinner and sake tasting in collaboration with the Ontario Spring Water Sake Company sitting in our inbox upon arrival back in Canada.

In case you missed the news, Ontario’s first and only sake brewery opened up shop in the Distillery District a few months back. Along with Ki Modern Japanese + Bar, the artisanal brewery is set to showcase an exclusive lineup of sakes paired with an original five-course menu of local seasonal ingredients created by Ki’s chefs. Based on last year’s sake tasting, we’ll consider this one a must-attend. Here’s what you need to know:
