H&M’s High End Sister Label COS is Opening Shop in Montreal and Toronto

As much as local retailers are suffering, international ones keep expanding and growing in Canada at a rapid rate.

COS, a contemporary clothing brand owned by the same group that operates H&M, is planning on opening its first Canadian stores in the coming fall and winter.

The first COS store will be a three-floor location at 85 Bloor St. in Toronto, while the Montreal store will be smack dab in central downtown at 1310 Ste. Catherine W.

If you’re not familiar with COS, the collection focuses on design for women and men who want modern and functional design launched in London in 2007 and has opened stores in 26 countries since starting.

COS designs favour style over fashion, creating timeless pieces that live beyond the season and where attention to detail can be seen in every garment. Basically, you get long-term bang for your buck.

Curious? Check out some images from their campaigns below and we’re pretty sure you’ll be excited to go shopping six months from now…
