Guided by God: Morgan Freeman is Now a GPS Voice

Navigating our way through winding city side streets or unfamiliar vacation destinations is so much better when you’re directed by a trusted voice.

God himself, Morgan Freeman, is the latest celebrity voice to be added to Google’s free navigation app, Waze.

Freeman isn’t doing it for the cash or for his love of navigation technology, of course. The voice feature is a marketing strategy for Freeman’s upcoming film, London Has Fallen (the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen).

In the film, Freeman plays the vice president. With the app, you’re the president.

That’s right, Freeman will address you, the driver, as if you’re the president (giving you that extra ego boost on the way to a job interview).

Now you have yet another reason to take that weekend road trip now (the promotion won’t last forever, after all).

You can make Morgan Freeman an added feature to your car by downloading Waze and changing the Voice Language settings to Morgan Freeman. You’re welcome.
