BeautyMark Brings Beauty Back

Late last week we found ourselves seeking a bit of a stylish asylum at BeautyMark’s ‘Beauty’s Back’ event held in Yaletown.  With ownership of this go-to boutique having been recently taken over by former BeautyMark management Kendra Lovick and web manager Tayler Rogers, we were curious to see what these two entrepreneurs had in store (pun-intended) for this always on-trend shop.

In speaking with the new owners, we learnt that avid shoppers can expect an expanded style section on the main floor, with newer, sought-after local and imported clothing lines as well as beauty lines (such as the organic skin care collection from Tata Harper).  The new owners also shared that customers can expect to see plenty more in the way of gift items, accessories and decor pieces (we’re loving the huge selection of scented candles).

The post-work event got off to a lively start with plenty of Vancouver’s fashionistas on site showcasing some of the season’s brightest picks worthy of our closet. Helping to up the fun factor at the Beauty’s Back event, Wendy Boys was on hand to dish out a selection of her chocolatey culinary creations at her Cocolico custom Sundae Bar.

In between bites, guests were privy to a make-up consultation and application, manicure, hair styling and offered delectable Vietnamese mini sub sandwiches (Bánh Mì) courtesy of Yaletown hot-spot DD Mau. To wash it all down, Bearfoot Wines helped make the night flow nicely and definitely loosened up the grip on our wallets.
