This Photo Perfectly Captures the Spirit of Canadian Protest

In case you missed it, there was a pretty major protest taking place on Saturday.

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered for the Women’s March on Washington in the U.S. capital to protest against the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump. It was so major, in fact, that it drew a significantly larger crowd than the previous day’s inauguration itself.

Tens of thousands of Canadians got in on the action from coast to coast as well, gathering by the thousands to march in solidarity.

Indeed, the Women’s March was about issues that affect everyone.

The march in Ottawa was notable for two reasons: 1. between 6,000 and 8,000 people showed up, and 2. some of them did so in the most Canadian way possible.
