And believe it or not, they’ve already found it – conveniently located in D.C. and just steps from Sasha’s school.
The nine-bedroom, 8,200-square-foot, $8 million home is located in the Washington suburb of Kaloram, and is currently owned by Joe Lockhart, who served as press secretary to Bill Clinton.
The house boasts chic chevron checkered flooring and a large reception area ideal for Barack and Michelle to entertain guests post-presidency.
Most rooms feature neutral tones and floor to ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful panorama views of the lush manicured gardens surrounding the property.
The home also features a gourmet kitchen, a butler’s pantry that’s nicer than most average kitchens, office space, entertainment room, wine cellar and wet bar, and a gym — where we can only assume Michelle will continue to sculpt her perfectly toned arms.
