‘Cause sometimes an insane amount of Instagram selfies is just not enough – you’ve got to spread the joy of the season with an actual photograph.
So here they are, the seven ‘best’ celebrity holiday cards of 2014.
We know receiving one of these in the mail would make our day…we’re just not sure what it exactly it would make it.
1. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi
The couple spoofs the ever-so-easy-to-make-fun-of Kim Kardashian for the second year in a row, recreating her Internet-breaking photo shoot.
2. Seth Rogan and James Franco
The actors prove that you’re never too old to sit on Santa’s knee and that they’re not afraid to bare it all with this racy Santa shot that Franco recently shared on SNL.
3. Beyoncé
Last Friday, this adorbs Christmas card hit the Internet, revealing Queen B in all her holiday glory. If it looks familiar, it is – the shots are from her new music video, 7/11 (best thing ever), from her self-titled album.
4. The Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks show off their softer side this season. They’ve partnered with BC SPCA to release a digital Christmas card that features the players posing with adoptable cats and kittens. So, theoretically, you could end up one degree closer to your favourite athlete by adopting a cat they’ve cuddled…you weirdo.
5. Cherie and Tony Blair
This painfully awkward holiday photo of Tony Blair and his wife was so shocking to some that his spokesperson had to confirm that is was indeed genuine after all the Twitter backlash it endured. Seriously though, if that’s the best they have from likely dozens of shots, the good, the bad, and the ugly just got a whole new meaning.
6. Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, and Family
We had to double check to make sure this ironically picture perfect looking Christmas card was actually from this year – thanks to some very public trouble in paradise (complete with split rumours) for the McDermott couple. Hmm…
7. Hugh Hefner and Wife Crystal Harris
Aw, that’s a cute picture of a sexy blonde with her grandpa – oh wait. Though 88-year-old Hugh Hefner was undoubtedly on Santa’s “Naughty List” this year, he and his 28-year-old wife of two years are apparently in the holiday spirit. We’re betting all Hef wants for Christmas is a stocking full of Cialis…
