On Wednesday night, famed Dragon’s Den-er and woman about town, Arlene Dickinson, celebrated the launch of her new book Persuasion at the chic Andrew Richard Designs showroom in downtown Toronto. But the book launch, hosted by Canadian singer and funnywoman Jann Arden, was so much more than just a festive way to pay homage to the VC specialist.
Arlene Dickinson is launching a Persuasion line of products – four luxe items that reflect her favourite life indulgences. From Persuasion wine – including the Dragon Blend – to chocolates – like the Spicy Persuasion with cayenne pepper – to coffee and a Persuasion skin care line, Arlene’s line mirrors her personal style and desire for luxurious products that offer up some rich indulgence.
The 2010 Persuasion wine is a bold Sonoma County red that will be available at select retailers and through Fluid Imports in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, in Ontario will be available via B&W Wines. Persuasion chocolate – Belgian, of course – coffee – a blend of Tanzanian AA and Celebes Kalossi – and skin care – natural and organic and spa quality – are all available on Arlene’s site and select retailers.
