Notable Style Found at Vancouver’s Oliver & Lilly’s

Having recently relocated to an up and coming artist-friendly abode from their former South Granville roots, Oliver & Lilly’s now inhabits a gorgeously bright and airy space on West 6th Avenue.

Vaulted ceilings lend the store a loft-like feel, tempered with their own rustic touches (raw-hewn beams, country-chic accents).  There is a true sense of calm, all the more perfect to get young professionals in the mood to spend a little sprucing up their wardrobe.

Long a go-to destination for savvy Vancouver fashionistas on the hunt for something unique, Oliver & Lilly’s definitely has a lot to offer. With lines such as Velvet, Heidi Merrick, A.P.C., Mother Denim and ace & jig on the racks, there are plenty of ways to vamp up your look for the season. Not to mention, owner Leighann Boquist shared news of a few exclusive lines to hit the shelves (we’re talking about British line Chinti and Parker).

If you’re looking for a little something to add a dash of style to your home space, Oliver & Lilly’s has that sorted out too. Look (and smell) no further than their collection of Le feu de l’eau handmade candles from LA, as well as an assortment of goods courtesy of Marble + Milkweed Apothecary. They’ll make the perfect housewarming or last-minute gift items suited to anyone’s taste.

We perused the racks of goodies, opting for a bit of gold-hued bling (from Parisian jewelry designer Tasia Canellis) while noshing on tasty treats courtesy of neighbouring Beaucoup Bakery. And then, alas, it was time to head back to the desk, visions of coveted new items firmly entrenched in our heads.

Oliver & Lilly’s can now be found at their brand new space located at 1575 W. 6th Avenue.
