Local designer Jenny Bird began her journey with a collection of luxury handbags she had produced in a New York Garment District factory in 2008. Shortly thereafter, Bird expanded her line to include a collection of jewelry. Focusing on creating pieces she feels are missing in the market, Jenny Bird is now carried at over 100 fashion-forward boutiques and retailers and is continuing to grow worldwide.
Jenny Bird has been featured in the pages of top magazines and her accessories have been seen on numerous celebrities.
“My line was born out of many inspired moments of observation and a calling too poignant to ignore. It was so hard to find beautiful accessories that were fashion-forward and well-made, luxurious yet priced affordably. Few things on the market were distinctly beautiful with a meaningful story; everything felt vacant of soul. I didn’t want obnoxious brands or empty fast fashion. I wanted indie-luxe and cool. I couldn’t help myself but to create,” she says of her inspiration to create the brand.
