International Weekender: September 26 through 28, 2014

We already spoil you with a weekly rundown of the hottest events in your city – but for jetsetters like you, sometimes that just isn’t enough.

You want to know exactly what’s going on wherever your plane may touch down over the next three days.

Well, now you can.

As for learning the local language, that one’s on you.

Paris Fashion Week
Catch the tail end of what is arguably the world’s most significant fashion week – whether from the front row or behind your camera lens outside the Carrousel du Louvre. On until October 1st.

Decibel Festival, Seattle
Seattle’s always a great city to check out, and this year’s Decibel Festival should be just enough to push you over the edge and book a flight. You have Saturday and Sunday left to experience leading-edge multimedia, art, and electronic music from around the world.

San Diego Film Festival
Ok, so it’s not quite TIFF, but there are still plenty of reasons to check out the San Diego Film Festival if you’re passing through the city this weekend. The festival wraps up on Sunday.

Chicago Gourmet
This celebration of gourmet food and wine is where you’ll want to be if O’Hare’s between point A and B this weekend. September 26-28.

Oktoberfest, Munich
Forget camping, this is the single greatest reason to spend this weekend in a tent.

Hacking Health, Hong Kong
The odds of you being a healthcare professional passing through Hong Kong this weekend are admittedly low, but this one’s worth mentioning anyway. Hacking Health aims to improve healthcare in fun, intense, and super-innovative ways through a two-day hackathon between designers, developers, and other medical professionals.

New York Burlesque Festival
Burlesque is alive and thriving in New York City, which bodes well for young professionals looking for a risqué retreat in the Big Apple this weekend.
