Grand Prix Montreal: The What, Where And When

With the major buzz of the Grand Prix already circulating around the city and aborad since last week, the events and parties are piling up and out of towners are rolling in! So much to do during this hectic but oh-so exciting week, that we wanted to break down the what, where and when for your social calendar this week. Here are our must-attend’s:

Notable.ca x SuWu Grand Prix Terrace Launch Party

In true Notable fashion we partnered up with our favourite cultural incubators, Saintwoods and their hip restaurant SuWu on the Main, the city’s most vibrant and authentic strip, to launch the official opening of their trendy terrace with a huge tent Grand Prix style on June 6th. What’s in store? An epic set menu, a super intimate vibe with the city’s coolest kids, a total escape from the usual Grand Prix scene, top hiphop DJ Simahalak , Stewart’s Old Fashioned Soda (Black Cherry or Grape mmm) x Vodka Bottle Service, AquaHydrate Water donating bottles of anti-hangover (elixir) all night and much more! The Belvedere Garden Party 

Following last years huge success with the Moet & Chandon Beach, this year The Belvedere Garden Party is taking over at the same venue (parking lot across from Cours Mont Royal on Peel during the Peel Paddock street event). This years theme is Hampton’s inspired with grass, palm tress, orchids, colonial columns, Hype girls, cricket games, superb DJs, amazing belvedere recipes and more! Happening daily (June 6th – 9th) from 2pm -12am, pop by for the fun!

Film Fashion 1 (FF1) 

Last year’s FF1 event was off the hook and this year promises to be the same. Taking place on Friday, June 7th at the The Montreal Science Centre’s Perspective 235 and the Passarelle Room (2 Rue de la Commune O) from 9:00 pm – 2:00 am, the event will feature décor by title sponsor Porsche, cocktails by Martini, delectable nibbles prepared by The Spoke Club Toronto, and beats spun by renowned DJ Grandtheft! In the past, FF1 has been a main attraction of the weekend, catering to celebrities like Lisa Kudrow, Ben Mulroney, singer Jacynthe, and racecar drivers Anthony Mantella and Daniel Morad- a true not to be missed event! Rémy Martin Presents: A Taste of Marbella Day-Party at Hotel 10

Ritz-Carlton & McLaren Grand Prix Garden Party

Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Ritz-Carlton Montreal is joining in the festivities by organizing the first inaugural Ritz-Carlton Grand Prix Garden Party. In conjunction with McLaren and Formula Tours, the party will take place in the hotel’s Oval Room and Oval Terrace, as well as the Palm Court, on Friday, June 7th, from 6:30 pm until 2 am, featuring open champagne bar, musical performances and more. Lexus and The Code 20 Presents Food Porn

THE CODE 20, the organization behind the avant-garde closing Formula 1 events at top venues around the world, is coming to Montreal at ‘La Queue de Cheval’, where the closing Grand Prix party will take place on Sunday June 9th starting at 10pm. The theme will be the legendary Food Porn.
