Five Notable Food Innovations

There is always excitement amongst the foodie community every time a new product announcement is made. Even more exciting is when 10 are made. The finalists of BSA Food Ingredients’ Trends & Innovations Contest were recently revealed, lauding 10 unique and creative food items vying for the grand prize title and “SIAL Canada Trends & Innovations 2012” seal of recognition. The products were selected by the grand jury in Montreal based on their innovation and modernity, as well as their ability to hold serious market appeal and sell.
