About an hour ago, the New York Stock Exchange suspended all trading for what it’s calling ‘technical reasons’.
According to Bloomberg Canada, some 220 symbols had been affected earlier in the morning.
And while Bloomberg Business has reported that “A U.S. Department of Homeland Security official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said there was no indication so far that the NYSE had been hacked,” we’re pretty sure most people are more worried than usual about the money they can’t ever actually touch anyway.
‘Cause, after all, this could easily be a Bain situation.
