Having announced its temporary closure on 1 W Cordova in the heart of burgeoning Gastown, one of our favourite food and drink haunts, Boneta is set to reopen on Saturday. (Pending a final obligatory legal look-see, that is!)
This time, however, they’ve shifted around the corner to a brand-spankin’-new spot just off the famed Blood Alley.
Diners will be thrilled by the chic décor and well-appointed layout of their new space, with a comfortable bar/lounge area (just as before) bound to attract the five o’clock cocktail crews. This time around, patrons can enjoy dining al fresco in their sun-drenched atrium tucked within the Water Street Garage courtyard.
A quick chat with owner Neil Ingram confirmed that avid and would-be fans alike can expect the same top-notch, creative menu selections as before with thoughtful changes being made seasonally. An abundance of carefully chosen wines will be in full-rotation on their list as well.
This Boneta redux has certainly amped up its appeal to discerning Vancouver diners even more. We can’t wait to cozy up at the bar with one of their signature cocktails and take in the eclectic scene that makes this spot such an original.
