Ok, so it doesn’t fly – but trust us when we say this thing is far more futuristic than the Jetson whip.
To celebrate its 100th birthday, BMW unveiled a concept car by the name of Vision Next 100 this week in Munich. The company described it as “coupé-type sportiness with the dynamic elegance of a sedan,” which is technically true and outstandingly modest.
Surely there are more hype ways to explain a car that features augmented reality functionality, both manual and autonomous modes, a Transformers-inspired interior including a vanishing steering wheel, and versatile seating options all encased by the lightest and most environmentally friendly material.
Though still a while away – perhaps a 100 years – from hitting the road, for now we can admire this video of the Vision Next 100 in action…
