A Grand Reopening for Petite Restaurant

Having recently re-opened the doors at their new location, Petite is once again the talk of the town amongst YYC YPs. The original location was what the name suggested, and as a result was often full with a waitlist and reservations required far in advance.

Acknowledging the need for more space, Petite’s new location at 344 – 17th Ave SW tkes residence in a 4000 square foot space. Even with the additional space, there is still a vibe reminiscent of the original coziness.

Executive Chef Jared Alvey has worked in Toronto and New York, using his knowledge and experience to create a menu they are calling upscale modern european infusion cuisine with emphasis on fresh and seasonal items.

It’s hard to pick any one favourite dish, but we suggest trying the Chicken three-ways, aka chicken drumette, roasted breast, and smoked chicken sausage served with lemon fingerlings, braised kale, and black truffle jus. For a lighter option, try the Mozzarella Panzenella Salad (Garlic crouton, tomato petals, duck confit, roast squash, aged balsamic and black pepper vinaigrette).

The wine list is a diverse offering, so you’ll be able to find a bottle that suits your taste no matter what you order. They also have some great premium beers on tap and prepare a variety of unique cocktails.

Petite now offers catering services, comprised of their classic menu items, so you can wow your guests with amazing food at the next corporate event or special occasion.
