Royal Caribbean UK & Ireland is offering up a sweet gig that may make you want to quit your job and become an intern again.
If you have a thing for travel and a love of Instagram, you should probably pay attention.
The cruise liner has announced an open call for its “intern-ship,” seeking someone who is over the age of 21 who wants to sail around the world for three weeks this coming summer.
The job requires the lucky intern to post the most extraordinary photos from their trip on Instagram – something they would do anyway in their travels.
Even better? The intern will actually earn more than they would at most entry-level jobs, taking home around $3,700 USD at the end of their voyage.
Over three consecutive weeks in June and July, the intern will live aboard three Royal Caribbean cruise ships: Ovation of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, and Freedom of the Seas.

As the job posting states, the ideal candidate is “a hybrid between a photographer, documentary maker and a storyteller,” has a smartphone and possesses an “extensive knowledge of all 23 filters” for quality Instagramming. And yes, the description pretty much applies to any millennial.
The intern will have an eye for the most breathtaking and photo-worthy views along the way on both land and at sea, as the vessels make stops in Asia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and New York.
He or she will get to experience all the perks free of charge, like dining at incredible restaurants and adrenaline-pumping activities.
That’s a far cry from doing coffee runs, making photocopies or ordering office supplies (seriously, where was this opportunity in our greener days of our careers?). This isn’t the first internship of the sort to temp wanderlust-filled millennials, either.
