Half of Swimming Pigs Of Exuma Found Dead

Approximately half of the swimming pigs of Exuma, Bahamas have been found dead.

It is on the bucket list of many travellers to swim with the swimming pigs in Exuma, Bahamas. The 15-or-so pigs lived on their own island, among 364 other islands, and liked to spend their days swimming their days away in the ocean.

Sadly, approximately half of the pigs have reportedly died. Bahamas Humane Society President Kim Aranha doesn’t believe their deaths are malicious, but theorizes it’s more likely that they ingested something poisonous. There are still 7 or 8 swimming pigs still alive in Exuma.
