The Calgary Zoo
Getting married in the botanical gardens is a unique and magical experience for any animal lover (and ideal for kids). There are many options for venues, including the Eurasian tent for summer months, the Safari Lodge, or their restaurant and patio for smaller groups; and FYI, the locally sourced food served is out of this world.

Spruce Meadows
If you’re looking to tie the knot outside of the city, Spruce Meadows is a great option with its beautifully kept lawns and still only 30 minutes away from the centre of Calgary. Choose from either the British House’s Georgian Room, which can accommodate up to 120 guests, or the Congress Hall, which can cater to up to 500.

Bon Valley Ranch
Situated in Fish Creek Provincial Park, the house has a stunning wraparound veranda perfect for photo opportunities. You can tie the knot in the hangar which can hold up to 200 guests or in a tent surrounded by a Lancaster Bomber with the runway lit up by tiny fairy lights.

The Walker House Lawn is a unique spot for a small, but very memorable Calgary wedding. The historic brick house was built in 1910 and has a 36-hectare bird sanctuary so you’ll be sure to get some colourful snaps. All events are environmentally sustainable, so confetti and other decorations may be prohibited in certain areas.

The Lake House
Situated on Lake Bonavista, this rustic wedding venue – complete with elk antler chandeliers and roaring fireplace – offers a stunning backdrop for your nuptials.
