Toronto is Getting its First Ever Bike & Restaurant Tour This Summer

We just gave you 30 summer events you should be going to in Toronto this year.

And it turns out we should have made it 31.

‘Cause during summer in Toronto, foodie events and cycling through the city go together like day-drinking and Trinity Bellwoods Park.

So we can say we’re more than a little happy that Toronto is finally launching its first cycle based experiential dining tour.

The Cycledine culinary tour is a four-hour bike adventure that takes riders to three of the city’s hottest restaurants for a three-course meal with up to 10 guests.

The names of the participating restaurants currently remain undisclosed, but according to Cycledine’s website, the Cycledine team has established relationships with many popular and prominent Toronto restaurants and they’re working diligently with staff to create a special experience.

The tour package includes a family style dinner that features appetizers, a main course, and dessert with tax and tip included.

Alcohol isn’t included in the package, but riders are free to purchase drinks at their leisure, though the Cycledine team advises that all riders should refrain from over indulging alcohol while on the tour — don’t drink and ride people (remember, safety first).

The first tour kicks off on Friday, June 3rd with more chances to ride throughout the summer. The best part? You don’t even need to own a bike to participate — for an extra fee they’ll rent you one for the night.

Summer sounds like it’s finally here. And it smells delicious.
