We travelled the country to show you how to properly throw a summer BBQ. And had one hell of a time doing it.
But we couldn’t simply stop the #PureLeafSummerBBQ series there. We had to take it one step further, which is why we offered one lucky winner the chance to have their own perfect BBQ experience – completely on us.
So when winner and Vancouverite Madelon Chan invited 25 of her besties to her own place for an epic afternoon, we knew we had to capture the experience.
It featured a customized menu that expertly paired each dish with one of the five Pure Leaf Tea flavours (think: Okanagan Goat Cheese Blinis to go with your Pure Leaf Peach), and a cocktail menu that included the night’s favourite drink, The Lazy Daisy, a watermelon spritz that stole the event.

Build in tall Collins glass filled with ice.
– 30ml Pure Leaf Peach
– 70ml Watermelon-infused Cocchi Americano*
– 15ml fresh lime juice
– 10ml agave syrup
– top with grapefruit soda
– garnish with watermelon slice
– Watermelon-infused Vermouth*
– 1 bottle Cocchi Americano,
– 250ml Aperol,
– 1/2 baby watermelon
Cut watermelon into 1/2″ cubes, and blend with vermouth and Campari. Strain well with cone or pastry strainer.
