Elevator Pitch: Describe your job in a nutshell.
I am an actress currently working on XIII The Series, as an assassin for hire, and I just finished filming The Colony, a movie set to hit theatres next year. You will also be able to see me back on the stage in The Tarragon Theatre’s world premier of This is War

Why did you start working at your company? What was the inspiration for this career route?
I love to tell a great story and my inspiration for this career route comes from wanting to entertain.

What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
Best part of my day is when the director says “action,” worst part is when the director says “that’s a wrap.”

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I will always act, it’s my passion and I love it. But I love writing and directing, too, so I’ll find a way to open those doors as well.

What does success look like to you?
Never wanting to retire.

What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
Getting cast as Mayme in CanStage and Obsidian Theatre’s co-produced Canadian premier of Intimate Apparel.  It was my first leading role on stage and a wonderful experience. Philip Akin (Artistic Director of Obsidian Theatre Company) gave me an opportunity to play with a beautiful cast and challenged me as an actress. I had to learn to play the piano for the role and refresh my vocal skills. I will always remember this experience as a turning point in my career.

Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
If this is what you really want to do, then never give up and NEVER let anyone tell you, you can’t.

Do you support any charities? If so, which one(s) and why is that important to you?
I am a big advocate for health and fitness and supporting my friends and family achieve and maintain their goals.

What to you is notable?
Falling in love.

Blackberry, iPhone, Android, or Other?
iPhone.
