- Goalie Saves More Than a Puck: After someone stole this young Belleville, Ont., hockey goalie’s equipment, the community banded together to raise money to have it all replaced. Then Philadelphia Flyer goalie Wayne Mason reached out to the family and made this an even more endearing story.
- Excuses, Excuses: This speeding driver in Australia claimed the wind pushed his pick up truck 10 miles per hour over the limit. Not surprisingly, the cops didn’t buy it and he was fined AU$200.
- Dogs Like to Chill, Too: A new study out of the Scottish SPCA, in partnership with the University of Glasgow, reports that dogs prefer to listen to reggae and soft rock music over any other genres.
