The moment so many of us have been waiting for is finally happening: 20-year-old photoshop experiment and worldwide parody subject Justin Bieber will be roasted on Comedy Central on March 7. And who other to break the news than the equally roastable Ryan Seacrest:
“Justin has been asking us for years to roast him, so we kept telling him to create some more material and we’re thrilled he listened,” said Seacrest.
What we’d give to see a look of regret creep across Bieber’s face a la Chevy Chase.
And yes, while roasts are usually reserved for celebrities boasting decades of actual achievements, there’s no doubt the Biebs invites several shows’ worth of roasting material – from Anne Frank to pet monkeys and, of course, his recent appearance for Calvin Klein underwear.
The evening’s roasters have yet to be announced, but as long as Jeff Ross gets his five minutes, we’re happy.
