‘Tis the season of giving.
And for the fourth year in a row, The Garrison is doing just that – in style.
Their annual holiday food drive (see: amazing party) sees 100% of its proceeds donated directly to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
So if you’re in the giving mood this week – and you definitely should be – this Thursday, December 18th at 9pm is the holiday party you’ve been waiting for.
Think: Bangs and Blush DJing, Toronto burlesque babes, The Harlettes performing live, and YTV’s PJ Phil hosting as local sponsors give away a bevy of prizes including a $100 gift card to Le Select Bistro, a hot shave and cut from Garrison’s Barbershop, and a $50 gift card to Kops Records.
In collaboration with Mill Street Brewery’s efforts to raise money for Daily Bread Food Bank, The Garrison will also incorporate the hashtag #MillStreetMoment into the event. Which means that for every mention (re-tweet, share, etc.) on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, $1 will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank
With a goal of hitting $10,000 by the holidays, there’s never been a better excuse to snap a few selfies.
Bring three non-perishable food items or pay $10 at door, either way, you now know where you’ll be this Thursday night
