Yes, We Said it: Start Planning Your Ski or Snowboard Getaway

As if we didn’t need more of a reason to get our wax-on for the ski and snowboard season ahead, news dropped into our inbox this morning about some sweet, powder-infused news you definitely need to note.

Whistler Blackcomb and Sun Peaks Resort have just announced a brand new season pass agreement that will score 2014/15 pass holders an extra sweet discount of 50 per cent off the window ticket rate at Whistler Blackcomb and Sun Peaks Resorts.

This agreement coincides with the addition of more than 500 acres of terrain to Sun Peaks Resort, making it the second largest ski resort in Canada (next to Whistler Blackcomb, that is)… and giving us all the more reason to gear up and explore the interior this season.

Though opening days are still a little while away (Whistler Blackcomb’s is set for November 27 and Sun Peaks’ official opening day is on November 22, 2014), you know what that leaves ample time for, right? Planning that perfect ski-bum vacation.

To score this 50 per cent discount that will be applied to current window ticket rates at time of purchase, all the pass holder has to do is show valid photo ID along with the corresponding pass for their for respective resort partner.  You know what that means? More great, challenging BC terrain to ride and more money for those beers après. Sounds notable to us.
